Andrew Broad
Chief Executive Officer
Andrew is the Chief Executive Officer of the Group and has over 20 years experience in contracting and services businesses in both the resources and industrial sectors. Prior to joing VDM Group, Andrew held the position of Chief Operating Officer with ASX-listed drilling company Ausdrill, where he represented the company in a number of joint ventures and boards, as well as holding strategic development, investor relations and other senior management roles within the company.
Andrew has gained international expertise having been involved in the growth of businesses globally in both developed and emerging markets.
Neil Barker
Chief Financial Officer
Rod Gonzales
Chief Operating Officer
Rod is the Chief Operation Officer of the group and has more than 15 years experience in the engineering industry, working in Australia, Canada and the United States. Prior to joining the VDM Group, Rod was the Commercial Director for WorleyParsons Western Australia Operations. Rod has also held senior management roles with Petro-Canada, Colt Engineering and NOVA Chemicals. His educational background includes post graduate engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and The Wharton School of Business.
Rod was recognised by Calgary Inc. Business Magazine as one of Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2008.
Tom Fallon
Executive General Manager - Western Operations
Tom has more than 20 years experience in the engineering and construction industry, working in Australia and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining VDM Group, Tom was that Executive General Manager of Decmil Australia. Tom has also held senior management and operational roles at Thiess Pty Ltd, Clough Engineering, Leed Engineering and Macmahon Contractors.
Tom has a Master of Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and BSc Building (Engineering) from Brighton University.
Bob Gregg
Executive General Manager - Eastern Operations
Bob has over 30 years’ experience in engineering design, documentation and contact administration of civil, structural and planning projects. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer of the Consulting Division of VDM Group. Bob joined VDM Group in September 2006, managing VDM Group’s Queensland Consulting Division. Prior to joining VDM Group, Bob was a Director, Principal and Manager of Barlow Gregg & Associates Pty Ltd., Consulting Engineers.
Bob has a Diploma of Civil Engineering and Environmental Design and is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Australian Institute of Building, Urban Development Institute Australia, and is a registered, QBSA licenced builder in Queensland and is a PAMD Registered Property Developer Director.
