How do I apply for a job with VDM?

You can either respond directly to a job advertised or submit an expression of interest on our website or apply to an advertised vacancy on seek.com.au. If you apply for a job or submit an expression of interest we will keep your resume in our database in case future opportunities arise that fit your profile. Applications can only be received via the channels described above.

How often are new jobs posted on your website?

New jobs are posted regularly and sometimes daily.

Where are the closing dates for roles listed on the VDM website and seek.com.au?

VDM does not place closing dates on advertised positions. They remain open until the most suitable person for the role has been placed.

Can I communicate directly with a VDM hiring manager?

Unfortunately due to the high volume of interest and hiring we currently undertake, our recruiters are unable to contact every candidate individually. However, we will contact you directly should your skill-set and experience match one of our opportunities.

Who can submit an application?

Job vacancies at VDM are intended for candidates interested in joining VDM. Please note we do not respond to unsolicited approaches from recruitment agencies.

What are the requirements to apply? (deadline, work permit, qualifications, etc.)

Requirements for each position are outlined in the job description for each posted role. Only valid work permits and visas will be considered for the roles.

How do I apply for hospitality roles such as a cleaner, cook, etc?

These roles are subcontracted.

What happens after I apply for a job?

VDM hiring managers responsible for each job you apply for will appraise your skills and experience, and inform you if your application is to be progressed in the selection process. If you are not successful, we may retain your resume in our database. How do I apply for a graduate position?

Every year VDM determines the disciplines in which we require graduates, and these roles are advertised. You can apply for these positions or submit an expression of interest for the Graduate Program. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee we will be recruiting in your discipline.
