VDM Engineering and VDM Construction worked together to design and construct a 1,714 bed camp - 1108 temporary and 606 permanent accommodation rooms.

The project included associated services and facilities, including a 10MVA power station, wastewater treatment plant, water treatment plant, fire water plant, 16 laundries, sports courts, 22.5m x 6m swimming pool, kitchen/diner, wet mess, admin/retail, theatre/internet/library, training, gymnasium, ice rooms, toilets, maintenance workshop, recycling shed, bulk linen store, communications room, first aid, HV substations and ring main.
