Port Mandurah Canal Development

Location: Port Mandurah, WA
The total project works included:
- 2 million m3 of bulk earthworks.
- 6 km of canal walling.
- 2 km of rock revetments including entrance to Peel inlet.
- Construction of 2 breakwaters into Peel inlet.
- 3 bridges connecting the island developments.
- 25,000 m2 of road pavement.
- Installation of underground services - sewer, water, stormwater and power.
- Construction of concrete boat ramp.
Completed in stages,each stage over 12 months construction period. Commenced in 1996 with Stage 6CA completed in June 2008.
