  • Sino Iron Project, Giant Mill Lift, Cape Preston WA

Installation of the world’s largest mills, VDM enabled the lifting of 1,400 tonne mills into place, up to 22 metres above ground, and within half a millimetre tolerance, an awe inspiring feat.

  • Sino Iron Project, Breakwater, Cape Preston WA

The 4.5 km breakwater at the port required more than 10 million tonne of core and armour rock in only 13 months. VDM completed the project within the clients original program, even with a 40% increase in work scope during construction.

  • Wellington Dam WA

The challenge was to get personnel and equipment into a safe position to do the work. VDM designed self-launching rails that could carry the construction equipment. It was an innovative solution which safely met the unique challenges of the project.

  • VDM Proudly Part of "Multi Award Winning" Utah Point Multi-User Bulk Export Facility, Port Hedland WA

Designed for multi users, the berth was the first of its kind in Australia and VDM employed significant innovation to overcome technical constraints.
