Hope Island Resort is located on the Coomera River upstream of Sanctuary Cove and is under construction on 360 hectares of river front land comprising residential canals, commercial centre and marina, 18-hole international golf course, sports centre, international hotel and golf course residences.
The links-style golf course was designed in association with Thomson Wolveridge golf course architects and has received critical acclaim and a high level of patronage since opening.
VDM Consulting has been responsible for concept planning, engineering investigations and design, construction co-ordination of the golf course and all civil works for the total project including approx. 2.5 million cubic metres of earthworks and 23 kilometres of ultimate waterways revetment.
During the peak period of infrastructure construction, VDM Consulting was responsible for the management and administration of 18 concurrent contracts involving expenditures of AUD$5 million/month.
